KUWAIT: Police arrested a number of suspects accused of killing a person in Salmiya, the Interior Ministry announced yesterday. Hawally detectives had launched a search for the suspects after Mubarak Hospital staff reported the arrival of a person with a deep stab wound. The victim had succumbed to his injuries in the intensive care unit.

Detectives were able to identify and arrest the suspects, and found the murder weapon in their possession as they admitted their crime, the ministry said in a statement. The suspects were taken to the proper authorities for further action, as they face premeditated murder charges.
