KUWAIT: Deputy Prime Minister, Interior Minister and State Minister for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al-Saleh chaired a top-level Interior Ministry meeting yesterday; his first following the Cabinet's new formation on Tuesday. The meeting was held in presence of senior ministry officials including Undersecretary Lt Gen Essam Al-Nahham and the ministry's assistant undersecretaries. Saleh conveyed the higher political leadership's appreciation of their efforts and the importance of the role they are carrying out to safeguard the country's security and stability.

Saleh said the instructions of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to make the achievements the county is looking for as well as respect the constitution and protect public funds will only be reached by efforts and working as one team. He said the instructions should be considered as a work program for all. He also discussed the security situation and plans related to this issue.
