To support children with special needs, the Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network (FSHN), a multidisciplinary non-profit healthcare organization, is organizing the tenth edition of the RunKuwait Charity Run on the 29th of October.
The event starts on October 29th at 8 am at Marina Crescent. Runners and walkers of all athletic abilities are welcome to participate. All proceeds from the event will go toward providing healthcare for children with special needs.
For the past 10 years, RunKuwait has hosted thousands of participants from official and civil institutions, individuals, and especially the sponsors of the race. The event has helped achieve the main objective, which is spreading awareness in the community about children with special needs and raising money to support their treatment at Fawzia Sultan Healthcare Network.
In the previous session of RunKuwait, the number of participants in the race exceeded two thousand participants, and more than 40,000 Kuwaiti dinars were collected, an amount that enabled the group to provide more than 500 treatment sessions free of charge, and without any additional costs for children with special needs.
RunKuwait is a fun family event and has two race distances: 5 km and 10 km. The race village will include many warm-up sports and activities for children as well as entertaining activities for the whole family and their friends, and the spectators cheering the racers.
