KUWAIT: Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr Yousuf Al-Ali expects the privatization draft law to be ready in two weeks, adding that the ministry is preparing its final form to submit it to the National Assembly for discussion and approval.
Ali said service sectors are closer to privatization, most notably electricity, water, mail, and ports.
Those sectors will be offered to the private sector in two years following studies of mechanism to offer them for privatization, he said. — Al-Anbaa
