KUWAIT: A Kuwaiti and a Saudi were arrested at Adan Hospital for assaulting a receptionist, two policemen stationed at the hospital, an Egyptian doctor and a patient while under the effect of drugs, said security sources. Case papers indicate that the assailants started assaulting the receptionist without any provocation, and when the two policemen tried to stop them, they also assaulted and insulted them, before they barged into the doctor’s office and beat him.
“You will treat us whether you like it or not!” they told the doctor. The assailants also assaulted and insulted another patient who tried to calm them down and stop them. A backup force was dispatched to the hospital that managed to detain the suspects. A case was filed and the suspects were referred to relevant authorities pending legal action against them.
