KUWAIT: Detectives arrested an Egyptian plastic surgeon after a patient accused him of removing a part of her body during an operation performed at his private clinic. Investigations later revealed that the same doctor had previously been arrested over similar charges. A female citizen went to a Hawally police station with a medical report stating that she suffered from dangerous complications due to a medical error. She explained that she went to a private clinic for a plastic surgery, but the doctor removed part of her abdomen, causing her complications that required her to be admitted inside the intensive care unit (ICU). The doctor confirmed that he performed the operation. Investigations are ongoing.
