KUWAIT: Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait, a well-known sports organization in Kuwait, organized its 6th Annual Blood Donation Camp recently at Kuwait Central Blood Bank in Jabriya, in accordance with anti-COVID precautions. This blood donation drive was dedicated to the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Late Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
A noble cause to serve humanity, Pakistan Sports Association and its members volunteered for the different activities of organizing the camp and most notably, a large turnout of its members and associates turned up with enthusiasm honoring the occasion. Well known personalities from different communities visited the camp and appreciated the well-disciplined and successful drive.
The delegates were briefed on different stages the donated blood goes through, how it is preserved and how a bottle of donated blood can save up to three lives. They also commended and appreciated the efforts of reaching to masses with a great message and achieving a large turnout for such a great cause in very difficult situation of the pandemic.
Founder and Director General of Pakistan Sports Association Kuwait, Muhammad Irfan Adil, President Maqbool Ahmed, Vice President Muhammad Younas Shahid, thanked blood bank management, sponsors, media partners, community supporters, donors, volunteers, team members and all the community heads including all media representatives for visiting the blood donation camp. People from all walks of life and nationalities visited the camp and donated blood for the noble cause.
