KUWAIT: In line with Al-Ahli Bank of Kuwait's (ABK) commitment to enhance customer service levels, the Bank signed a cooperation agreement with PACI to approve the 'Kuwait Mobile ID' application in electronic ID verification, authentication and digital signatures in banking transactions.
Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) Self-Service Kiosks have been installed in different branch locations, allowing customers to register and create a digital signature - 'E-Signature'. The benefits of E-Signature include document security, eradication of fraud and simplification of processes, enabling customers to sign documents electronically through any device, therefore limiting the need to visit a branch.
Laila Ahmed - Head of Retail Centralized Operations at ABK said: "ABK remains committed to its promise of simpler banking, and we are pleased to present our customers with a system that provides users with security and convenience. We continue to enhance our technology with the objective of encouraging our clients to shift towards digitization, making banking simpler and more convenient. We are launching in five branches, and we look forward to expanding the E-signature service to additional branches in future." PACI Kiosks are available at ABK's Head Office, Jabriya, Fahaheel, Sabah, and Adan branches.
