KUWAIT: HisHighness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah yesterday received acable from Sultan Qaboos bin Said of Oman, congratulating him on recoveryfollowing a recent health problem. In the cable, the Sultan of Oman wished HisHighness the Amir well and Kuwait further advancement and prosperity under hiswise leadership.
In response, HisHighness the Amir sent a cable to Sultan Qaboos, voicing thanks andappreciation to him for his good sentiments and sincere prayers, and wishingthe Sultanate of Oman and its well-regarded people much progress anddevelopment under his judicious steering. His Highness the Amir receivedsimilar cables from Oman's Deputy Prime Minister Sayyid Fahd bin MahmoudAl-Said and Tunisia's interim president Mohamed Ennaceur.
Meanwhile, HisHighness Amir received a congratulatory cable from National Assembly SpeakerMarzouq Al-Ghanem, on recovering from the recent health setback, wishing HisHighness Sheikh Sabah wellbeing. In response, His Highness the Amir sent acable to Speaker Al-Ghanem, thanking him for his kind sentiments.
In addition, HisHighness the Amir received a congratulatory cable from Chairman of theJordanian Senate Faisal Akef Al-Fayez over his recovery. Fayez uttered hissincere congratulations over His Highness the Amir's recovery and he wished hima good health.
