Kuwait: Director General of the Municipal Council and head of the joint elections committee Ahmad Al-Manfouhi affirmed on Thursday that the council was eager to provide all facilities to make the 2022 National Assembly election for the 17th legislative term a success.
Speaking to the press after visiting an election poll, Al-Manfouhi commended the inter-government cooperation in streamlining the current elections.
All measures were taken to enable voters to reach their respective polling station, he added.
The Kuwait parliamentary elections began earlier today with the participation of almost 800,000 voters casting their ballot in polling stations nationwide.
The voting process will continue until 8:00 p.m. local-time in Kuwait.
