KUWAIT: A motorist died and another was injured in an accident reported on King Fahd road. Mina Abdullah fire station had responded to a car accident on the road, and found one a Kuwaiti man dead on the scene, while another man was found critically injured. An investigation was opened to reveal the cause of the fire.
Meanwhile, two children escaped injury while their mother was injured when the vehicle they were in flipped over on Arabian Gulf Road. Salmiya fire station men responded to a call about a car flipping over and hitting a lamppost. The trapped woman was freed and handed to paramedics.
In other news, Kuwait Municipality said its Hawally branch carried out several campaigns resulting in the removal of 42,996 cubic meters of debris and rubbish. Acting Director of Public Cleanliness and Road Occupancy Department Nawaf Al-Mutairi said 149 transactions were processed including the issuance of 106 new licenses, while 43 were renewed. He said that 139 cars were impounded.
