KUWAIT: The handing over the Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital project will be between the project’s contractor and the public works ministry, the health ministry said.

The health ministry has no link or relation to the project yet until it is fully completed along with all its facilities, Dr Ahmad Al-Shatti, the ministry’s spokesman, said.

The public works ministry is the official authority to receive Jaber Al- Ahmad Hospital directly from the contractor when completed, Shatti explained, reiterating his ministry’s non-involvement in the handing over process.

The process will be subject to checking procedures, including engineering, technical, and observatory by the public works ministry, particularly the buildings, electricity, air-conditioning, sewers, lightning, parking, elevators, and other services, he noted. — KUNA
