KUWAIT: President of the International Aquatics Federation Kuwait’s Hussein Al-Musallam met Monica Garcia, in the presence of Spanish Olympic Committee President Alejandro Blanco, and President of Spanish of Aquatics Raul Carbon and Madrid Mayor Jose Luis Martinez-Almeida, and discussed Spain’s hosting of the World Aquatics Championship in 2031.
This comes within the plans of the World Aquatics to distribute the championships over the given continents, and support swimming in all countries and remote area, in order to create successive sports generations in the field of swimming. Al-Musallam said Spain is one of the advanced countries in aquatics, besides having successful facilities to host such a world event.
