Woman seduced victims to steal their money

KUWAIT: The interior ministry wrote to another ministry with regards to paying for airline tickets of its employees who are being deported, Al-Rai daily reported yesterday. Informed sources said the 10 are of Syrian, Indian, Egyptian and Bangladeshi nationalities. It said ministries and government departments bear the cost if their employees are deported. The sources said the interior ministry demanded that traffic fines be paid and transferred to the interior ministry.

Thief busted
Criminal detectives solved cases of thefts that were committed during two years by a woman who used to seek help from individuals to carry her things, then seduced and kissed them, during which she stole their belongings. The woman kept changing her facial features with makeup. Detectives found gold purchase invoices with her. A police source said the woman took advantage of being good looking and approached men seeking help. When someone volunteered, she used to take him to a secluded corner and get close to him, and did not let go until she took his money and other valuables before disappearing. Most of the victims did not lodge complaints to avoid problems, except for six who accused her of theft and debauchery, reported Al-Rai. The source said detectives determined the place the suspect targeted the most over the two years, then identified and arrested her. The woman was identified by several victims in a lineup. They also found the woman used to purchase gold with the money she stole.

Policeman assaulted
A bedoon woman and her Kuwaiti boyfriend, who had a sword and a knife, beat a traffic policeman and hit his patrol car with their vehicle. A security source asked the girl to pull over following a violation, but she ignored him, so he pursued the car. A man seated next to her then made obscene gestures. The source added the woman stopped the car all of a sudden in the middle of the road, and both were found under the influence. The suspects' vehicle then collided with the patrol car and the woman attacked the policeman. Backup came in and controlled the situation. Police found a Taser, a knife, a sword and brass knuckles, along with drugs with the suspects. The two were charged with resisting arrest as detectives are carrying out further investigations.

Student attacked
A Kuwaiti doctor lodged a complaint against a school dropout for beating his adopted son and breaking his collarbone. The citizen told police that he is the guardian of a 13-year-old Syrian boy and fully responsible for him. The doctor first went to the school to submit a complaint at the school administration, only to find out that the student who attacked his son had been kicked out of school. Criminal detectives are investigating.

Grocer mugged
Three thieves stole products from a mobile grocery as one dragged the Indian grocer by the neck for a distance before letting go. The three took things worth KD 28, and when the grocer asked them to pay, one of them grabbed him by the neck, causing him injuries when he fell.
