KUWAIT: Minister of State for Economic Affairs Mariam Al-Aqeel yesterday paid a sudden visit to three labor departments in the Capital governorate and checked on employees' commitment to doing their jobs. Aqeel also visited the labor relation department and met some of the public processing transactions there, and listened to their remarks about the service.

Meanwhile, The Public Authority for Manpower yesterday held a workshop on launching the second priority of the national program for decent work three-year agreement signed between Kuwait and the International Labor Organization (ILO). The authority's international relations manager Jaber Al-Ali said the workshop was held in the presence of representatives from the manpower authority, the supreme council for planning, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Kuwait labor union.
