KUWAIT: The Finance Ministry formed a new task force to find a mechanism to waive the debts of government employees. This would happen provided that the task force presents a comprehensive study in regards to the debts that ministries demand to drop based on a Cabinet decision that authorizes the finance minister to suspend judicial demands on some debts under certain conditions.
Sources said that the task force will work on discussing the reasons how the debts came to be and were left to increase without being paid. The committee would also place a suitable mechanism to address this situation. — Al-Qabas
