KUWAIT: A man wassent to the public prosecution for kidnapping and raping another man. Thevictim, Egyptian, went to a police station and told police that as he waswalking, a car stopped and the driver asked him to get in, saying that hewanted to give him rice and oil.
The suspect thendrove to Sulaibiya farms area, raped the victim and left. Detectives were ableto identify the suspect, a Syrian man in his 50s, and found him in a Dhajeejcafe. They waited next to his car and before getting in, he was arrested andlater identified in a line up by the victim.
Reckless driverarrested
Farwaniya policearrested an adolescent who was showing off in his car in front of a girls'school. His car then flipped over. The youth escaped with the car's licenseplates, but he was identified. The car was taken to the police station, whilethe suspect was arrested. He handed in the license plates and was sent to thejuvenile department.
Suspected thiefheld
Facilities detectivesarrested a man in Burqan oilfield area with 57 pieces of copper he is suspectedof stealing. Detectives who were on patrol spotted an SUV, but the motoristattempted to escape when they approached him. The man, Indian, was arrested andsent to Ahmadi police station.

A citizen foundthe spot where his car was parked had collapsed and the rear side of the carhad fallen in the hole. An informed source said investigations are being madeto find out the reason of the collapse.
