KUWAIT: The Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, inaugurated the digital follow-up center on Tuesday, which will be a major hub for following up on remote work procedures and a center for managing operations in all sectors of the Ministry, including educational areas and schools. The Ministry said in a press release that the opening of the center comes within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts to enhance the efficiency of the educational system, taking advantage of modern technologies in monitoring and following up on communication mechanisms.

The statement added that the first operational phase will begin on Wednesday, coinciding with the twelfth grade exams, as the center will enable Ministry officials to follow up on the progress of the secondary school exams. He explained that the center will also allow the Ministry’s officials to communicate remotely with the control staff, review the daily statistics of the examination process, monitor the progress of correcting papers and ratios, and announce the results effectively and transparently.

The director of the Information Systems Department at the Ministry, engineer Huda Al-Mutairi, said in a statement that the center contains modern technologies, advanced computers, and large screens to display data and statistics about the Ministry. Al-Mutairi added that the center is also equipped with an advanced video communication system that allows officials to communicate with school districts and school administrations through the Thames program.
