BEIRUT/KUWAIT: Lebanon's Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri plans to visit Kuwait and Egypt before returning to Beirut this week, the Lebanese 'Al-Mayadeen' TV channel said yesterday, quoting sources. Meanwhile, a leader in Hariri's Future Movement told Reuters yesterday that Hariri, who announced his resignation in a televised broadcast from Saudi Arabia on Nov 4, will visit Egypt today. Hariri has been in Paris since Saturday, where he met with French President Emmanuel Macron, and has said he will return to Lebanon by Wednesday. In Paris, Hariri met French President Emmanuel Macron, and has said he will return to Lebanon by Wednesday for its Independence Day celebrations. Lebanese resident Michel Aoun has said he will not accept Hariri's resignation until it is delivered in person and all sides in Beirut have called for his speedy return.
