KUWAIT: Adelegation representing syndicate of public labor unions has discussed withMinister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Services KhaledAl-Roudhan their role in achieving the vision of Kuwait 2035. In a pressstatement yesterday, the federation's chairman Hussein Al-Azmi said thatRoudhan affirmed during the meeting their pivotal role in contributing toimplementing the vision of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-JaberAl-Sabah to make the country a financial and commercial center.
The delegationdiscussed with the minister the Kuwaiti workers' movement in general, Azmisaid, indicating that Roudhan expressed his understanding of the fundamentalrole played by the unions as a link between workers and officials. Azmi pointedout that Roudhan stressed on keenness of the government, under chairmanship ofHis Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah tosupport labor federations. - KUNA
