KUWAIT: The Public Youth Authority signed a cooperation protocol with Sabah Al-Ahmad Center for Giftedness and Creativity (SACGC) yesterday, aimed at developing scientific, technical and technological skills of youth. Authority Director General Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi said the protocol, signed in Qadsiya Youth Center, aimed at helping youth to be able to spread culture of technological creativity as well as holding training courses in Qadsiya Youth Center.
The authority, he added in a statement, was keen on establishing partnerships with youth-sponsoring bodies to have the maximum benefits from potentials of youths. Dr Omar Al-Bannai, SACGC Director General, said SACGC would place its capabilities for the service of Kuwaiti youth, and has already organized workshops in Governorates of Jahra and Ahmadi.
SACGC and youth authority seek to open more activities in other youth centers nationwide to contribute to social development, he said. SACGC, added Bannai, would also setup industrial and agricultural incubators for the youth inventors. The protocol aims at establishing a strategic partnership between the two parties with the ultimate objective of developing skills of youth. - KUNA
