KUWAIT: HH The Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah Cup final match will be played on Jan 12, 2021, Chairman of Kuwait Football Assocaition Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousuf Al-Sabah said. Al-Yousuf thanked the championship patron for his support. Sheikh Ahmad Al-Yousuf said Information Minister, State Minister for Youth Affairs Abdelrahman Al-Mutairi will represent HH the Crown Prince.
The Cup draw placed Kuwait, Yarmouk, Sahel, Fhaheel, Khaitan, Nasr and Burgan in group one, while group two includes Qadisiya, Sulaibkhat, Arabi, Shabab, Salmiya, Tadhamon, Kazma and Jahra - bearing in mind that Kuwait will join the tournament in round eight as the champion of last season.

Meanwhile, in the 14th round of Kuwait Football League (ranking phase), Jahra joined the lower league after they lost to Khaitan 2-3 while Khaitan kept their hopes to remain in the premier league with their 17 points, while Jahra remained at 11.
In another match, things became more interesting as Burgan defeated Nasr 2-1. Burgan's goals were scored by Nicolas Kofi, while Nasr's lonely goal was scored by Adel Hassan. Burgan (now have 14 points) ignited the battle to stay in the premier league. Meanwhile Nasr have 29 points in second place.
The fifth team which will be determined at the 15th and final round of the ranking phase will join Jahra, Tadhamon, Yarmouk and Sulaibkhat. The competing teams are Sahel with - 17 points, Khaitan - 17, Fahaheel - 15 and Burgan - 14. Three of the said teams will remain in the premier league, and one will join the lower league. Another match, Sahel and Salmiya ended goalless - giving Salmiya 26 points in third place, while Sahel have 17 points.
