KUWAIT: The Kuwaiti pilgrim, Jassim Al-Failakawi, who had been missing following the tragic stampede that took place during the Hajj in Makkah this year, was confirmed dead, Saudi authorities informed the family.
The authorities in Kuwait, including officials from foreign, interior, Awqaf and health ministries, had been trying hard to locate Al-Failakawi ever since the tragedy struck the pilgrimage. According to his companions, Al-Failakawi, left them on Mount Arafat at 1 am on Thursday, September 24 to rent a vehicle to carry them to Muzdalifa. However, he never came back.
