Moscow: Kuwaiti photographer Mohammad Murad won second place prize in Golden Turtle international contest in Russian capital, Moscow.
Murad spoke to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) saying that taking part in such an international event is something to take pride in, especially that he is the only Arab to win second place award.
The award-winning photo (Blurry Vision) depicts the movement of elephants as they walk in Tanzania.
Murad had previously won awards for his photography skills, the latest being first place award in Montphoto contest.
The wildlife contest, Golden Turtle, is considered a spiritual and philosophical venture aiming to raise environmental awareness.
Some 4,252 people from 111 countries are participating in the festival, held over five days in Moscow.
