KUWAIT: Kuwait’s gymnast Sarah Al-Bannai gave an outstanding performance with the Ball Routine of the 4th Pharaohs International Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup Championship for Girls in Cairo - winning the gold medal. Al-Bannai competed with 50 players from 28 countries. The second and third place medals went to the Cypriot team.

Meanwhile Al-Bannai placed fifth in her second contest of the hoop event. This is Kuwait’s second achievement in the international event. Talia Behbehani won third place and the bronze medal in the Ball Routine during the first day of the championship. Sarah dedicated the medal to HH the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the federation and her family. She thanked her Ukrainian coaches Irina and Victoria for their great efforts.
