KUWAIT: A citizen reported that an old friend of his assaulted him with a knife and tried to break into his house in Daher area but he managed to escape before the police arrived at the scene. A case was filed and the suspect was summoned for further investigations. Also, a female citizen was recently arrested for threatening her brother with a knife at the family house in Adan.

SMS love messages

A Syrian living in Salmiya reported that her neighbor (another Syrian) had been sending her several SMS love messages despite her repeated rejection. A case was filed and the suspect has been summoned for further investigations. In another development, two Syrians have been arrested for fraud, said security sources, noting that one of the suspects is wanted for several criminal cases.

Having affair

A female citizen working for a local bank recently filed a complaint accusing her colleague of attacking her at the bank and stealing her mobile phone. However, on summoning the suspect, she justified her action- claiming her fellow-worker had been having an affair with her husband. She said she took the phone to stop her from communicating with her husband.
