HANGZHOU: Being assigned to cover the Asian Games 2023 in Hangzhou, China, is both exhilarating and daunting. Traveling with and covering the athletes has been rewarding. Witnessing their determination and passion in representing Kuwait is inspiring. Seeing them give their best has motivated both Mohamed and me to reflect the same level of commitment into our work here.
Hangzhou has meticulously prepared itself to host 45 competing nations and has been warm and eager to share its vibrant culture with us all. This confluence of various cultures is beautiful, and win or lose, we are honored to be a part of this international tapestry. From our flight to arrival, and throughout the games, we feel united.
