KUWAIT: Kuwait National Shooting teams manager Mohammad Mizyed Al-Daihani said Kuwait shooting continues its achievement at the international level, the latest of which their participation in the Green Cup tournament which was held in the Italian City of Todi at the Umriaverde Shooting Complex. The tournament was held during the period from 22/8 until 3/9/2019.

Al-Daihani said Kuwait shooters competed with European and Asian shooters, as Kuwait participated with Olympian Mansour Al-Rashidi and Abdelrahman Al-Faihan who won the Olympic trap silver medal, as the Italian Shooter Julio Vioraventi won first and British Shooter Mathew won third place.

Al-Daihani said Olympian shooter Mansour Al-Rashidi won the skeet bronze medal.

Al-Daihani said shooters Al-Faihan and Al-Rashidi will go into special training as they qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, that in addition to prepare for more qualifications to that highly important global event.
