KUWAIT: Chief of the Prime Minister's Office Abdulaziz Dakhil Al-Dakhil on Tuesday announced the launch of the advisory economic unit headed by His Highness the Prime Minister and including representatives of the concerned government agencies. This is based on the instructions of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Al-Nawaf Al-Sabah, on the importance of adopting an advanced approach to support the national economy and work on attracting valued investments and enhancing the role of the private sector in line with Kuwait Vision 2035.
Dakhil said that the unit will take upon the task of reviewing and developing economic, financial and development legislations and policies to achieve the Kuwait Vision 2035 and several other tasks. The unit will work on strengthening the ties between economic, financial, developmental and operational institutions, noted Dakhil, and joining their efforts to promote economic development in the country. The unit will discuss ways to improve the environment of small and medium enterprises in a way that will enhance their role in achieving the country's economic development goals, added Dakhil, and will work to establish national economic security, to provide a safe economic environment, stimulating growth and investment.
