Kuwait remains in Tier 2 in US Trafficking in Persons Report

KUWAIT: His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah warmly received, on Thursday, at Bayan Palace, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdullah Al-Yahya, and the Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jasem Mohammed Al-Budaiwi. The meeting also included the foreign ministers of the GCC member states: Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud (Saudi Arabia), Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani (Bahrain), Badr bin Hamad Al-Busaidi (Oman), Khalifa bin Shaheen Al-Marar (UAE), and Dr Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi (Qatar).

This gathering was held ahead of the 46th Extraordinary Meeting of the GCC Ministerial Council in Kuwait. The discussion emphasized Kuwait’s ongoing commitment to strengthening Gulf Cooperation and addressing key regional and global issues.

Present at the meeting were Major General (Retd) Jamal Mohammed Al-Dhiab, Director of the Crown Prince’s Office, Mazen Isa Al-Issa, Undersecretary for Foreign Affairs at the Crown Prince’s Office, and Abdulmohsen Jaber Al-Zaid, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Affairs. — KUNA
