KUWAIT: The Ministry of Public Works announced Saturday that it launched its first service to be offered through the "Sahel” app. Citizens can now submit an application through the app for the delivery of treated water to agricultural lands they own in both Wafra and Abdali.

Last week, the Ministry of Social Affairs said it was expanding its services through the app to allow citizens to book appointments to meet with the social affairs minister. The ministry spokesman said the move was in line with the government’s open-doors approach. The government is putting great emphasis on addressing citizens’ concerns hands-on – Minister of Education Dr Adel Al-Adwani has also started meeting citizens in his office as of last Thursday to listen to their complaints. — KUNA
