KUWAIT: Kuwait Olympic Committee signed a cooperation and coordination agreement with Afghanistan Olympic committee to exchange experiences in team games as well as martial arts, besides organizing friendly tournaments in order to benefit athletes of both countries.
The agreement was signed during a visit by a sports delegation from Afghanistan headed by President of AOC and Youth and Sports Raheemi Hafeez, in addition to the President of the Republic's advisor on youth and sports affairs Ajmal Ghani and AOC Secretary Dr Mohammad Younis.
President of Kuwait Olympic Committee Sheikh Fahad Nasser Al-Sabah was briefed on the latest developments in the Afghanistan sports movement, particularly martial arts in which it made very good progress. He said that we should benefit from such experience to advance those games in Kuwait.
