Kuwait: Kuwait on Sunday said it stands by Iraq's side a day after a tanker blast left scores of people either dead or injured east of the capital Baghdad.

Kuwait extends its deepest condolences over the loss of life, a foreign ministry statement underlined, wishing a speedy recovery for those wounded in the explosion.
