Kuwait: Kuwait's National Guard and its aviation regulator agreed on Sunday a deal to manage logistics in times of conflicts and crises, the two state bodies said on Sunday, citing the pact as a transformative endeavor for the security force. The agreement aims to allow Kuwait's National Guard the opportunity to morph into the nation's main defense body, its undersecretary Lieutenant General Hashem Al-Refai said in a statement.
Similarly, the pact allows Kuwait's Civil Aviation Authority to participate in national defense strategies, an initiative hailed by the regulator's public relations chief Yousef Al-Fouzan as an opportunity to further develop joint works, added the statement.
