Kuwait minister's resignation accepted

KUWAIT: A decree was issued yesterday accepting the resignation of Kuwaiti Minister of Finance Nayef Al-Hajraf. Another decree appointed Mariam Al-Aqeel as the Acting Minister of Finance, in addition to her post as Minister of State for Economic Affairs. The decree indicated that the prime minister would inform the National Assembly of the decision, effective as of issuance. Moreover, it will be published in the official gazette. Furthermore, the premier will inform the parliament about appointing Aqeel as the acting minister of finance. - KUNA
