KUWAIT: KuwaitiDeputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabahyesterday affirmed the deep-rooted cooperation in all fields with the US,especially in the security arena.
Sheikh KhaledAl-Jarrah made the remark during a meeting with the US Ambassador to KuwaitLawrence Silverman, accompanied by US Deputy Chief of Mission Larry Memmott,where the two sides discussed a number of issues of common concern, the Ministryof Interior said in a statement.
AmbassadorSilverman praised Kuwait's vital role in stabilizing security and peacekeepingin the region, expressing his country's aspiration to continue coordination andcooperation with Kuwait, the statement added. - KUNA
