KUWAIT: Kuwait Football Club moved one step closer to keep the Cup of HH the Amir by defeating Kazma in their semi final match that was held Sunday evening with the score of 8-7 in penalty kicks after drawing 1-1 in regulation and extra time. Kuwait scored first in the 42nd minute when Faisal Zayed succeeded in converting a penalty kick, then Bandar Bouresli equalized in the 50th minute.
Amjad Atwan failed to score while Shaheen Al-Khamees, Yaqoub Tararwah, Sami Al-Sane, Fahad Al-Hajiri, Fahad Humoud, Abdelaziz Naji and Abdul Cisco scored for Kuwait. While Hamid Marios and Khalid Al-Obaid missed their kicks as Hamad Harby, Abdallah Al-Fahad, Shabeeb Al-KHaldi, Naser Faraj, Mohammad Al-Azmi and Bandar Bourisli scored for Kazma.
Meanwhile Al-Arabi Football club joined Kuwait in the final match by defeating Yarmouk 5-4 from the penalty spot as regulation and extra time ended 0-0. This will be the 58th Amir Cup match to be held, and the date is yet to be determined.
