KUWAIT: His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and Indian counterpart Narendra Modi discussed Wednesday mutual efforts to counter the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) global pandemic. During a phone conversation, the two officials touched on the recent regional and international efforts to curb the spread of the dreadful virus infection.
They also explored ways to develop medical and technical collaboration to face coronavirus. Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled and Modi also discussed ways to enhance cooperation on all fields between the two nations.
Meanwhile, Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah on Wednesday called his South Korean counterpart Kang Kyung-wha to discuss the close relations between both friendly countries in various fields. During the phone conversation, both ministers also discussed joint cooperation over response to the novel coronavirus worldwide, the Foreign Ministry said in a press statement. - KUNA
