KUWAIT: The Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) -- in cooperation with the Interior Ministry -- delivered on Friday 1,500 food baskets to workers in Mahboula, which is under lockdown due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
KRCS's Public Relations head Khaled Al-Zayed said that operations to hand foodstuff in Mahboula and Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh was ongoing since the lockdown was announced.
He added that KRCS was keen on providing necessities to workers as well as families in need in Jahra and Taima areas. KRCS provided 400 food baskets in aforementioned areas, Zayed affirmed. - KUNA
