Kuwait: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has addressed a cable of congratulations to the newly assigned Secretary of Defense of the United Kingdom Grant Shapps.

The ministry of defense said in a press release on Thursday that Sheikh Fahad Al-Ahmad expressed great pride of the solid and historic relations bonding the two friendly countries.

He wished the British peer great success in the service and for the UK, sustainable progress and prosperity.
