KUWAIT: Kuwait Altomooh Sports Club for the mentally challenged celebrated the start of training for the 2023-2024 season for the club members at Saleh Shihab Secondary School in Mishref, in the presence of Altomooh Chairman Jassim Al-Nouri, Secretary General Sadeeqa Al-Ansari, treasurer Hanaa Al-Zawawi, Board members Fahad Al-Sahly and Qaseema Al-Mousawi as well as the Club’s Director General Huda Al-Khaldi.

The celebration included several sport and entertaining performances to encourage players to get involved in the training after the summer break. Al-Nouri congratulated the players and their parents for the start of the new season and commended the optimistic and confident atmosphere, especially after the reception of HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and his lauding of their achievements and urged them to continue their hard work and commitment to make more achievement to have Kuwait’s name flying high.

Jassim Al-Nouri said the club prepared an ambitious training plan that is suitable with abilities of all players to prepare them for a busy season both locally and abroad, as we are looking forward to continue the march, and lauded the excellent cooperation of the work organization, administration, technical and administrative departments.

He thanked all those who support the club’s activities, and thanked Public Authority for Sports, Information and Education Ministries. Club Director Huda Al-Khaldi lauded the attendance by players and their parents, noting the enthusiasm, optimism and confidence the club starts the season with. She said the technical department prepared a training program for September to prepare athletes physically in football, basketball, athletics, bocce and tennis.
