Kuwaitis came second on the list of Arab buyers of real estate in Turkey over the last seven years, according to Turkish economic data. Kuwaiti people purchased a total of 8,442 properties during the reporting period, having the second place in view of Arab real estate buyers in Turkey during the period between 2015 and mid-2022, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in its recent figures.
Combined property sales to people from 10 Arab countries totaled 74,233 between September 2018 and September 2022, it added.
Iraq was ranked first in terms of Arab and foreign property buyers in Turkey with 36,391 over the last seven years, it noted. Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, Lebanon, Libya, Qatar and Sudan had the following ranks respectively, it added. --KUNA
