KUWAIT: Kuwait Shooting Sport Club (KSSC) honored its outstanding players in the presence of President of Arab and Kuwait Shooting Federations Eng Duaij Al-Otaibi, Deputy Chairman of KSSC Mohammad Mustafa Karam, Secretary General of Arab and Kuwait Shooting Federations Obaid Munahi Al-Osaimi, KSSC treasurer Essa Ahmad Al-Butti Butaiban, Assistant Secretary Eng Mohammad Misfer Al-Ghurba, KSSC board members, Public Works Minister, State Minister for Municipal Affairs Eng Hussam Abdallah Al-Roumi, and Dr Nidhal Omar Al-Sayed Asem, along with the shooters and a large number of shooting fans.

The honoring was for shooters who participate in several international events most notably HH the Amir Cup tournament that was held in Todi, Italy from April 3-4, World Cup tournament in South Korea from April 20-30 and the Arab Shotgun Tournament held in Morocco April 3-11.

Eng Duaij Al-Otaibi said the club is proud of this outstanding group of shooters who insisted on having Kuwait flag flying high in international arenas while competing with Olympic and world champions. He said this honoring comes from the board of directors as an appreciation of their efforts in preparations, training and participating in the tournaments, and making achievements that we proudly dedicate to HH the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who always gives advice while continually supporting shooting and shooters, HH the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber, HH Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, government and people.

Eng Al-Otaibi thanked Information Minister, State Minister for Youth Affairs Mohammad Al-Jabri for his support, and Director General of Public Authority for Sports Dr Humoud Fulaiteh Al-Shimmari for removing all obstacles to enable shooters make their achievements in the name of Kuwait.

Engineer Duaij Al-Otaibi expressed his appreciation for the continued support from President of Arab and Kuwait Civil Aviation Directorates Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah, the Godfather of Kuwait shooting.

Secretary General of Arab and Kuwait Shooting Federations Obaid Al-Osaimi lauded the results shooters achieved, adding that KSSC board of directors lays down the plans to enable shooters make more achievements in the name of our beloved country, adding that KSSC is working on qualifying "8" shooters for Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
