KUWAIT: Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) distributed yesterday 1,500 bags containing winter clothes to cleaning workers in Sabhan, as part of its winter campaign. This campaign targets workers with limited income, KRCS's Secretary General Maha Al-Barjas said. The society, she added, was keen on showing appreciation to workers specially during cold weather.

The distribution of warm clothes, said Barjas, aimed at protecting cleaning workers from cold weather thus preventing health problems. Maryam Al-Adsani, head of KRCS's Domestic Assistant Department, thanked the donors for providing the clothes. - KUNA
