KUWAIT: Capital police arrested an Indian expat for kidnapping a 13 year old boy in Jaber Al-Ahmad area. The man was sent to concerned authorities. A police source said a juvenile citizen called police and told them he saw an Indian grocer kidnapping one of his friends, so they responded and arrested the suspect.

Two arrested

Two Indians was arrested by Kheitan police for attempting to bribe a police captain by KD 1000 to release a woman compatriot who has been arrested on prostitution charges.

Juvenile in car accident

A driver allowed his sponsor's juvenile son to drive his car in Fahaheel. The boy got involved in an accident and both ended in the ICU.

Hot tea burns girl

Hot tea burned the arm of a six year old girl and had to be treated in hospital. Her parents were charged with negligence in Rihab area police station.

Smuggler detained

An Egyptian failed in a bid to smuggle 2130 Tramadol tablets inside his personal clothes upon his arrival at Kuwait International Airport, as customs officers caught him and was referred to Drugs Control General Department.

Citizens fight

A fight between two citizens in Jahra area left one with a head wound and the other a broken finger. The men were fighting over whose turn it was at the checkout counter. Both lodged complaints at the police station, as legal action is being taken. In another, unrelated case, a citizen in his 40s told Interior Ministry operations that his younger brother attacked him and was throwing and breaking things in the house. Police went to the house and arrested him in the basement. He was sent to DCGD to find out where he gets his drugs from.

Fake detective arrested

Ahmadi police arrested a bedoon who posed as a detective and was taking money from expats after threatening to deport them. Police received a call from a citizen telling them that a man was stopping pedestrians in Mahboula threatening to deport them, then asks for money.
