World Union of Arab Bankers recognizes bank's hard work, dedication
KIB received this award based on several key criteria evaluated by the awards committee, which consists of a group of banking and economics experts from both the Arab region and globally. Accordingly, the research department at the Union of Arab Banks (UAB) and the WUAB awarded the Bank in recognition of its innovative Islamic banking products and services, high customer satisfaction levels, high standards of business ethics, customer focus, and continuous focus on innovation and development in all aspects of the business.
Receiving the award on behalf of KIB was Manager of the Corporate Communications Unit at the Bank, Nawaf Najia. On his side, KIB's Chairman, Sheikh Mohammed Jarrah Al-Sabah, said: "This Award serves as a testament to KIB's leadership and excellence within the local banking sector. It also highlights how KIB continues to implement a successful strategic approach and solid, future-looking vision in order to enhance its contribution to the Kuwaiti economy - something which has reflected positively on its performance and enabled it to successfully achieve its strategic objectives."
Al-Jarrah further expressed his pride at KIB receiving this award, which adds to the Bank's already impressive track record of honorable and prestigious accolades. It serves to note that the WUAB is an organization which currently has more than 500 members from across the region. Headquartered in Beirut, the WUAB publishes the Banking Executive Magazine, which honors the achievements of Arab banks throughout the region on an annual basis.
