KUWAIT: Director General of Kuwait Fire Services Directorate (KFSD) Lieutenant General Khaled Al-Merkad announced yesterday the inauguration of new fire engines equipped with an advanced system to provide more efficient firefighting and rescue operations.
Mekrad stated in a press statements during his visit to several fire stations that this upgraded vehicle, which come with the CIFS system, will help progress firefighting operations in line with the latest technologies in the field. KFSD would deploy 15 new vehicles, which contribute to reducing water and foam usage, to all fire stations, he added. Mekrad also stated that 17 more vehicles would enter service in the second stage. - KUNA
