KUWAIT: Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences organized a scientific program for recent Kuwaiti graduates, including practical training at some major companies in Kuwait and a trip to Germany to visit Siemens to have a look at the most modern technologies used there.

The program which was held by the scientific culture directorate at KFAS during the past two months, out of the foundation's keenness on fulfilling its goals to support a culture of science and technology and invest in the development of manpower.

The program also aimed at preparing graduates for the work environment, particularly at international companies due to their professional environment, and work systems according to top global standards. The scientific program included two stages, the first was practical training at some international companies based in Kuwait that lasted four weeks, including field visits to the plants of these companies.

Meetings were held with officials to learn from their experience. The second stage sent the graduates to Germany in cooperation with Siemens Kuwait to visit several of its plants in Berlin to have a look at the most modern technologies used there.
