Jewelry designs at Joyalukkas for Valentine’s Day celebration

KUWAIT: The Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies (KIBS) organized a seminar entitled “Navigating Your Future Values in the Labor Market” at the College of Administrative Sciences at the Kuwait University. During the seminar, Dr Yaqoub Baqer interviewed Rana Al-Nibari. In the beginning of the seminar, Al-Nibari spoke about her experiences, the beginning of her practical journey, and some of the stations she worked during her career.

Al-Nibari pointed out the values in the labor market which she said would determine a person’s career. She stressed the need for the person or institution to pay attention to work ethics and the basics that he/she believes in, including honesty and professionalism at work and commitment to time.

Al-Nibari touched on the personality of the start-up company, the beginning of the pyramid of it must be solid, the importance of having a cooperative team and the personality of a modern team leader. She underlined the need to take care of the products offered by the company and the public’s view of the goods.

Talking about the importance and nature of the work of the Kuwait Institute of Banking Studies, she said “it cares about the employees of banks and the banking community in Kuwait, and has a strong financial immunity.” Al-Nibari explained that a bank employee must have more than one role per year and be part of their work and evaluation, in addition to the need to learn new skills. At the end, the floor was open for a discussion and she took students’ questions.
