KUWAIT: Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah yesterday issued a number of decisions reshuffling some Interior Ministry officials. The new resolutions included appointing Maj Gen Faisal Al-Essa as special forces director and Col Osama Salmeen and Col Abdul Wahhab Al-Yaqout as his assistants. Col Mejbel bin Shouq was appointed acting border security director while Brig Marzouq Al-Marzouq and Col Hamad Al-Mudhi were transferred from the special forces to the ministry's headquarters.
Military garments
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced that its inspectors closed 11 shops specialized in tailoring military garments for violating the type of work they had been licensed for and selling epaulets and caps to unauthorized customers.
Camping season
In preparation for the new camping season from Nov 15 to March 15, Kuwait Municipality continues meeting with relevant bodies to discuss the preparations that include forming a special inquiry committee with a special inquiry hotline. The municipality also noted that co-ops will be allowed to build mini-markets and recreation centers to serve campers.
